About hubcap theatre

HubCap Theatre Company was set up to perform original work written and performed by Michael Ryan and Sean Kelleher. As performers, writers and producers, our ethos is to provide highly entertaining, accessible theatre in its purest form. It is influenced by the tradition of the old Fit-Up Theatre companies that travelled to every community bringing live theatre to the people. The Parish, a hilarious comedy is now touring.

The Parish is a light comedy that runs for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Two actors bring to life characters that can be found in every rural community in the country. It is performed with minimal set and is supported by a rich soundscape. The Parish brings to life a story of conflict and treachery in the community. But it ultimately celebrates friendship and community which creates a bond that overcomes all adversity.
